Kyoto Royal Spa, Ishin Hotels - Japan
Spa Synergy was appointed by the Ishin Hotels Group (a Soros Investment hotel company based in Tokyo) to assist them in developing international standard spas for their hotels in Japan. Our role in the Kyoto property was to create a unique spa concept that matched the expectations of the existing and future customers. The concept was well received by the investors who proceeded to approve funds to refurbish the space within the hotel. We were also instrumental in assisting Ishin Hotels Group in finding a suitable high profile professional product brand supplier whom they could leverage off in terms of customer recognition, trust and have the ability to tap in to their broad base of customers. The spa was launched June 2005.

Spa Philosophy - Macau
The world's first pollution free day spa and Macau's first international standard day spa, opened its healing hands to residents and tourists from Hong Kong searching for genuine solutions to their health and beauty needs. The investors appointed Spa Synergy to set up the spa to international standards, hand hold the management team through the entire development process of concept to opening and offered ongoing operational advice for the first 6 months of opening.

Rockwell Club - Philippines
A luxury spa within a private members city club and owned by Rockwell Land Corporation. Involved in setting up the 3,000 sq ft male/female spa within a luxury private members club. It included a three month interim management position to help set up the spa, training staff in all aspects of beauty therapy treatments as well as generating substantial revenues within the first month of opening.

Crescat Properties - Sri Lanka
Appointed to carry out a site review. Advise architect and engineer on space planning. Assist with spa feasibility study. Retained to advise through construction phase and successfully assisted in advising and negotiating with Angsana Resort to manage the facility.

Ishin Hotels - Japan
Appointed to carry out a detailed feasibility study and business plan for several hotel properties purchased by Ishin Group including the Narita Hilton, Tokyo and the Kyoto Royal Hotel, Kyoto.

St Gregory Therapeutic Spa - Singapore
Appointed to oversee the pre-opening development and post-opening management of St Gregory Therapeutic Spa at Novena Square, a 30,000 square foot Day Spa located in Singapore. The project involved working with the project management and spa development team on issues range from fit out through to the overall spa set up, including recruitment and training of Spa employees and assistance in developing an effective marketing campaign to generate visitation and develop repeat business.

St Gregory Marine Spa - Singapore
This project involved a six month assignment to establish a luxury, 7,000 square foot City Day Spa in Singapore. The engagement incorporated liaison with the Spa developer to finalise interior design and fit out, development and implementation of standard operating procedures, implementation of sales and marketing activities plus daily, hands-on Spa management responsibilities in order to transform the facility into a fully operational Spa, catering for both male and female guests.

Spa Botanica - Sentosa
Appointed by Hong Kong Resort Group to present an initial spa concept using the botanical theme. Incorporated ideas that could help maximise the natural resources and landscaping to create a truly tropical spa environment at a city resort facility. Advised on the business planning and operational set up requirements.
